My name is Kimberly Furtado.
Ever since I could hold a pencil, I've been creating art. My skills evolved with time, moving from traditional sketches to digital art in a matter of years. I had many inspirations in my earlier years that led me to becoming a 3D artist, such as entering the online gaming scene when I was 13. Gaming is what made me realize that I want to create video games and intricate worlds, so that I can inspire others with my work.
When it comes to education,
I graduated from high school in 2013, continuing my education at Full Sail University. I then graduated from Full Sail in June 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art.
During my time at Full Sail, I was able to participate in several group-work opportunities. These included creating and building a playable level in UDK with fellow Game Art students, as well as creating assets for use in a custom-made game developed by students from the Game Development degree program.
I also love learning about and mastering new programs and skills to enhance my workflow! I am currently studying Python and C++ in my free time, while I am skilled in HTML and CSS after practicing with various personal website projects for years.
